Having arrived in the UAE in 2009 from California, he has been a pioneer in establishing global standards of professionalism in the local wealth management industry. This includes being the first and original Certified Financial Planner, managing portfolios directly in a fee-based compensation model instead of commission driven or using third party asset managers, and providing financial modeling for his clients using Monte Carlo simulations, long before these services became normalised.
