Dr. Nuzhat Ahsan is a dedicated scientist with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, specializing in Neurodegeneration. Her research has made significant strIdes in understanding neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson’s Disease. As a recognized expert in molecular biology and biophysics, Dr. Ahsan is committed to advancing scientific integrity and ethical research practices.

Dr. Ahsan holds Registered Scientist status from the International Science Council and the Royal Society of Biology. Passionate about science communication and mental health, she works to brIdge the gap between complex scientific concepts and public understanding. Currently serving her second term as an ambassador for the Royal Society of Biology, she is leading efforts to establish a regional branch in the UAE to enhance science outreach.
