Dr. Amal Alhefdhi is an Associate Professor and Consultant in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center. She serves as Program Director of the Breast and Endocrine Surgical Oncology Fellowship and Deputy Program Director of Surgery clerkship at AlFaisal University, while leading the surgical scientific research committee.

A distinguished scholar, she ranked among her country's top 10 students in high school and earned degrees from world-renowned institutions including Harvard and Oxford. She holds the Saudi and Arab Board of General Surgery and completed fellowships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

As one of Saudi Arabia's few female surgeons, Dr. Alhefdhi balances clinical practice with research, education, and leadership. Her numerous peer-reviewed publications and national/international awards reflect her outstanding contributions to surgical oncology and medical education.
