A graduate in Agriculture and an IIM Kolkata alumnus, he has led strategic business units for global companies in Agro-Chemicals, Seeds, Biotechnology, and the Biological industry across the Asia Pacific region.

Featured multiple times in TIME, Forbes, Fortune, and Economic Times, Debabrata is a prominent leader in the bio-ag sector. He has held leadership roles in Monsanto, Chemtura, and Syngenta, and currently serves as CMD for MicroAlgae Solutions India Pvt Ltd, Director for AGMA Energy, and President - APAC for AE Biologicals.

He has received numerous awards, including the Best Bio-Ag CEO Award for three consecutive years. In October 2024, he was honored at Oxford Union as a Global Indian.
