Born on 18th October 1976 in Jalandhar Cantt, he completed his schooling at St. Joseph's School and DAV College, followed by a B.Tech in Textile Technology from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Regional Engineering College (now NIT) between 1994–98. His father was an advocate, and his mother was a teacher, shaping a foundation of discipline and learning.

Ashish began his career at Vardhman Group in production, then moved to Swiss multinational Rieter as a Sales Engineer in 2001, rising to National Manager for PAN India sales in parts business within five years. In 2005, he joined ATE Enterprises, scaling sales turnover from ₹30 Cr in 2006 to over ₹200 Cr by 2012/13 as General Manager.

In 2014, His joined Truetzschler GMBH as Vice President, PAN India Sales & Marketing, and now serves as Senior Vice President at Truetzschler India Private Limited. Over a decade, he has driven sales, service, marketing, product launches, and operational excellence, growing the company’s turnover from ₹500 Cr to over ₹1000 Cr and capturing more than 50% of the Pan India spinning machinery market.
