He is the President, and CEO of Hemara Bio, a Dubai-based biopharmaceutical company dedicated to expanding patient access to innovative therapies in hematology, rare diseases, and oncology.
Under his leadership, Hemara Bio has forged partnerships with ministries of health, patient advocacy organizations, and global biotech innovators, positioning the company as a trusted bridge between advanced therapies and underserved patient populations.
Previously, Mohamed served in senior leadership roles at Emmaus Life Sciences, where he established and expanded the Middle East and Africa operations, achieving market leadership in sickle cell disease therapies. He also held key positions at Baxter Oncology, Servier, Taiba and Amgen, consistently surpassing sales and growth targets while building high-performing teams.
With expertise spanning commercialization, health economics, regulatory navigation, and strategic partnerships, Mohamed has successfully launched life-changing therapies and built sustainable business models in highly complex healthcare landscapes.
